Wednesday, October 20, I had the pleasure of photographing Mr. Stevens in concert for the Dallas Observer. Sufjan is an extremely talented musician…and he can body roll. He won’t end up on any Beyonce dance videos, but he would definitely get some numbers throwing shapes in London. It was such an entertaining show, and I’ve been listening to his newest album, “Age of Adz,” since it’s release in late September, and have greatly enjoyed this new energy. Sufjan was hilarious on stage, describing the show as, “Andrew Lloyd Webber meets Grease meets Tron meets Sesame Street–fun for the whole family.”

This week I’m taking photos with Anton Seim for Green River Ordinance. They are recording this week in Dallas. I’m so excited to hear them play, and photograph these talented guys!

Here are a few quick shots from today.

D Magazine recently published some work of mine on the Annex house here in Dallas. Richie Sullivan wrote an article covering the history of the house show venue. Check out the magazine for full article and photos.
